Thomas is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice. His practice covers a variety of complex litigation matters, including advising clients in federal securities actions, as well as investigations and enforcement actions brought by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and other regulators. He also maintains a robust pro bono practice.
During law school, Thomas was a law clerk at Akin, interned for the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ and externed in the Appellate Division of a Federal Public Defender’s office. Prior to law school, Thomas worked as a trial preparation assistant at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
