Yuzhe PengLing has experience across a broad spectrum of matters at the intersection of international trade law and policy. Yuzhe represents domestic and international clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission, and in litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade. She also counsels and defends companies in a variety of regulatory and enforcement matters, including customs compliance, product safety, anti-forced labor, and anti-corruption issues. Yuzhe advises corporate and government clients on trade policy trends, as well as bilateral, multi-lateral, and regional trade agreements that affect supply chain management and industry outlooks.
Prior to joining Akin, Yuzhe was an attorney at D.C. and New York law firms, where she practiced in a variety of international trade and white collar matters.
Yuzhe earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was an editor of the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law. While attending law school, she interned at both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Chinese Ministry of Commerce, with a focus on international trade agreements and cross-jurisdictional enforcement actions.
