- Focuses on the formation, structuring and operation of domestic and offshore private investment funds.
Zhane counsels fund sponsors, managers, investors and other market participants in all aspects of the formation and operation of private investment funds, including private equity funds, credit funds and hedge funds. She also advises on matters relating to secondaries transactions.
Zhane was a 2021 Akin Pro Bono Scholar and a 2022 summer associate, representing several pro bono clients in connection with immigration and employment.
Zhane was previously an SEO Law Fellow for another large international law firm, where she worked on corporate restructuring and arbitration. Prior to law school, she began her legal career as a paralegal for a boutique firm in New Jersey, focusing on real estate transactions.
Zhane earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as subciter for the Harvard Negotiation Law Review, as the training director of the Harvard Mediation Program and as a member of the Harvard Black Law Students Association. She received a B.A. with honors in political science from Hampton University.
