Akin Gump Named a Finalist for Asia Legal Awards 2016

(Hong Kong) – The Asian Lawyer has included an Akin Gump deal among the finalists for the publication’s Asia Legal Awards 2016.

The firm was recognized in the category “Finance Deal of the Year: Projects” for its role advising PJSC LUKOIL on a project financing of up to $1 billion to finance further development of the Shah Deniz gas field (Phase 2) in the South Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. The transaction reached financial close on October 22, 2015.
