(Washington, D.C.) – For the second year in a row,  Akin Gump has been ranked in the BTI Most Recommended Law Firms report published by BTI Consulting Group, an independent research organization that focuses on how clients “acquire, manage and evaluate” professional services firms.

The ranking is based “solely on in-depth telephone interviews with leading legal decision makers…at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue.” BTI states that “Recommendations directly reflect personal standards of quality, client service and value,” noting that superior client service is by far (64.5 percent) the reason these decision makers would recommend the law firm they named to a peer.

In 2016, three Akin Gump partners— Rick Burdick, Dianne Elderkin, Mike Swan—were selected as BTI Client Service All-Stars (learn more here).
