Akin Gump Shortlisted in Three Categories for IFLR Awards Europe

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that it has been shortlisted in three categories at the upcoming IFLR Awards Europe 2021. It is among the firms nominated for Deal of the Year for the Nordic Aviation Capital DAC restructuring as well for Deal of the Year for the Swissport restructuring. Separately, the firm is also shortlisted in the Team of the Year: Restructuring category.

The award winners will be announced on April 29 in a virtual awards presentation. The IFLR Awards focus on “legal innovation in cross-border deal-making,” with the shortlistings reflecting “hard work and ingenuity” as well as “transactions that broke new legal ground and set new legal high-water marks in the region.”

Akin Gump is also shortlisted in two categories for the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2021, which will be announced on March 25 (learn more here).

The firm won three categories at the inaugural IFLR1000 United States Awards in September (learn more here).
