(Dallas) – Akin Gump has been selected as an honoree in the Outstanding Diversity & Inclusion Organization category of the Dallas Business Journal’s 2021 Leaders in Diversity Awards.

The award recognizes those organizations that have shown “exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in business leadership.” In addition, the publication credits the honorees with bolstering equality “across all areas of diversity—including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race and religion.”

Akin Gump and other award winners will be recognized at a virtual awards program on March 4.

Last fall, the firm was named to the Dallas Business Journal’s list of Best Places to Work in North Texas, which celebrates the top 100 places to work in the region and highlights workplaces “that are embraced and loved by their employees.” (Click here to learn more.)
