(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump public law and policy counsel Katie Brossy has been recognized among the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development’s 2015 class of “Native American 40 Under 40” award recipients.

The award recognizes “individuals under the age of 40, nominated by members of their communities, who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication and made significant contributions in business and their community.”

Ms. Brossy, along with the other honorees, was honored at the Reservation Economic Summit New Mexico’s 40th Annual Indian Progress in Business Awards Gala held on November 18.
