Brothers Dmitrii Ovsyannikov ("Mr. Ovsyannikov") and Alexei Owsjanikow ("Mr. Owsjanikow") were convicted of breaching UK financial sanctions under the Russia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the "Russia Regulations").

The Council of the European Union (the "Council") issued Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/701, which confirms that the EU restrictive measures under Article 2f of Council Regulation (EU) 833/2014 to suspend the broadcasting activities in the Union, or directed at the Union, of the media outlets listed in Annex V of Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/395, shall apply as of April 9, 2025.
