Employees of the law firm Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) will have any active security clearances suspended. Also, all government contractors are required, to the extent required by law, to disclose any business they do with WilmerHale and whether that business is related to the subject of the government contract. Enforce the Federal prohibition on foreign nationals voting in Federal elections. Requires documentary proof of United States citizenship and for verification from a State or local official for national mail voter registration.

Rescinds several executive orders made during the Biden-Harris administration. A continuation of Executive Order 14148 from January 20, 2025 which rescinded 78 Presidential orders and memoranda issued by then-President Biden.

All individuals at the law firm Perkins Coie will have any active security clearances suspended. Also, all government contractors are required, to the extent required by law, to disclose any business they do with Perkins Coie and whether that business is related to the subject of the government contract. Within 30 days of the date of the order, all agencies shall submit to the Director of OMB an assessment of contracts with Perkins Coie or with entities that do business with Perkins Coie (effective as of the date of the order) and any actions taken with respect to those contracts in accordance with the order.

Continues reduction of federal government by requiring the following entities to reduce their performances to the minimum required by law: the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service; the United States Agency for Global Media; the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the Smithsonian Institution; the Institute of Museum and Library Services; the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness; the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund; and the Minority Business Development Agency. Within 7 days of the date of this order, the head of each governmental entity listed shall submit a report to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget confirming full compliance with this order and explaining which components or functions of the governmental entity, if any, are statutorily required and to what extent. 

To combat Venezuela’s destabilizing actions and support for illicit activities, the Secretary of State in consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of Homeland Security and the U.S. Trade Representative, is authorized to determine in his discretion whether a tariff of 25% will be imposed on goods imported into the United States from any country that imports Venezuelan oil, whether directly through Venezuela or indirectly through third parties, on or after April 2, 2025. A party is found to be “indirectly” importing Venezuelan oil when the origin of the oil can reasonably be traced back to Venezuela, as determined by the Secretary of Commerce.
