- Advises on a range of environmental and climate regulatory, policy, transactional and litigation matters.
Erin is an associate in the environment & natural resources practice, with a focus on regulatory counseling. She represents and advises clients in environmental litigation, transactional matters and enforcement actions.
Erin holds a J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as secretary of the Latin American Law Organization and Events Chairman of Virginia Law Women. She was also involved in Virginia Law Women of Color and UVA’s Lone Star Lawyers. During her last year of law school, Erin also spent a semester at France’s prestigious Université de Paris II, Panthéon-Assas.
Prior to law school, she served as a production assistant for a major media network and as a policy and legislation intern for Earthjustice and Arizona Forward. Notably, Erin also earned an REU Scientist position at the University of Arizona’s Biosphere 2, the world’s largest Earth science laboratory, where she helped create an augmented reality technology for the facility.
Erin was a member of Akin’s 2022 summer associate class and a 2021 Robert Strauss Diversity & Inclusion Scholar, working in our Houston office for both summers.
