Earlier in her career, she was a government and public services consultant for a global management consulting firm, editor-in-chief of an art and literary student magazine and marketing director for an internet radio station.
She received a J.D. from Columbia Law School where she was a co-head writer of Law Revue. She graduated with an A.B. in literary arts with honors from Brown University.
