Biography
- Advises in fund formation and limited partner representations for private equity funds and hedge funds.
Jake represents private fund managers in the formation of closed-end funds and hedge funds. He also has experience representing fund of funds, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and state pension plans investing in private funds.
In addition to his work in the investment management practice at Akin, Jake has worked in house as a funds lawyer for Brookfield Properties Group and was a member of the investment funds practice group at another global law firm, where he worked on both private and registered fund offerings and investor representations.
