Lulu is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. She assists public & private companies in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), securities, finance transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters. Lulu is particularly focused on complex corporate transactions, private M&A, special situations and preferred equity and hybrid capital.
Lulu was a 1L Pro Bono Scholar and a 2L summer associate in Akin’s New York Office. During her 1L summer, Lulu’s pro bono placement was at Her Justice, where she worked on a variety of immigration and family law matters.
Prior to joining Akin, Lulu interned for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C., in the Division of Investment Management. Lulu also spent a semester working with Georgetown’s Social Enterprise and Nonprofit Law Clinic, where she assisted a local entrepreneur in streamlining employment processes and updating related contracts.
Lulu earned her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.S. in economics and global business from New York University, Stern School of Business, with a minor in French.
