Taylor is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. She assists public and private companies in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities and other lending arrangements, offerings of debt and equity securities, capital markets transactions, SEC disclosure issues and other corporate governance.
Prior to joining Akin, Taylor worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Brenda Rhoades of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Taylor earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. During her time in law school, she served as executive editor for the SMU Law Review Association’s Texas Survey. She was also vice president of the Christian Legal Society, and the recipient of the International Aviation Womens Association Scholarship in 2021.
