The UK Government announced that the Office of Trade Sanctions Implementation ("OTSI") within the Department for Business and Trade ("DfBT") is now fully operational.
- 10 Oct 2024 (OFAC):
The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") issued a new FAQ (1197) regarding securities "held" at the U.S.-designated National Settlement Depository ("NSD").
- 30 Sep 2024 (UK):
The Export Control Joint Unit ("ECJU") published its 'Notice to Exporters 2024/26', which confirms that intra-corporate services will no longer be listed as a UK licensing consideration in respect of the professional and business services sanctions from October 31, 2024.
