The Department of Justice ("DOJ") charged Flighttime Enterprises, Inc. ("Flighttime"), an American subsidiary of a Russian aircraft parts supplier, and three individuals with crimes related to a scheme to illegally export aircraft parts and components from the United States to Russia and Russian airline companies without the required Department of Commerce licenses.

The Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Reference Committee released a report on its inquiry into Australia's sanctions regimes. The report makes eight recommendations to strengthen the sanctions regime, focusing on consistency, alignment with allies, and closing sanctions evasion loopholes.
