- 17 Jul 2024 (BIS):
Maxim Marchenko, a Russian national residing in Hong Kong, was sentenced to three years in prison pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering and smuggling microelectronics subject to the EAR from the United States to Russia. Marchenko was arrested in September 2023 and pleaded guilty in February 2024.
- 15 Jul 2024 (Russia - Countermeasures):
The Russian Central Bank suspends the publication of daily information on trading volumes for foreign currency exchange operations.
- 12 Jul 2024 (Russia - Countermeasures):
The Russian Government expanded the list of economically significant organizations ("ESOs").
- 12 Jul 2024 (Russia - Countermeasures):
The Russian Government lowered the threshold for the mandatory conversion of non-Rouble currency proceeds collected by Russian exporters.
