Allison Coffin’s practice focuses on representing individuals and corporations throughout every stage of investigation by the DOJ, SEC and other government agencies, as well as handling internal investigations and other legal compliance matters. She represents domestic and international clients in a variety of government enforcement matters, commercial civil litigation cases and internal investigations.
Allison maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on post-conviction sentencing relief for juvenile offenders.
Earlier in her career, Allison clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Salerno.
- Secured a jury verdict of not guilty on all counts on behalf of an official of the Royal Government of Cambodia charged with conspiracy and related violations of the Lacey Act, following a two-week trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in Miami.
- Secured a pretrial dismissal of an 11-count indictment charging a Maryland-based attorney with conspiracy, wire, mail and bank fraud, and money laundering following nearly four years of pretrial litigation.
- Represented an international law firm and one of its former partners in connection with a DOJ investigation related to the Panama Papers.
