- Significant experience advising on direct lending matters, liability management transactions and other types of complex financings.
- Advises on the financing aspects of restructuring matters.
Chris represents hedge funds, private credit and direct lending funds, banks and special situations/opportunistic investors on a wide variety of stressed, distressed and non-distressed lending arrangements, debt situations and funding structures. Chris also advises creditors on the financing aspects of cross-border workouts and financial restructurings transactions.
Chris's recent engagements include:
- Advising HPS Investment Partners on the refinancing of Havila Kystruten, a Norwegian shipping company.
- Advising an opportunistic investor on the refinancing of a shipping and shipbuilding group.
- Advising on various liquidity and distressed lending structures.
- Advising private credit investors on various acquisition and other lending structures – including senior and junior instruments, unitranche lending, holdco instruments, fund finance, private placements and whole business securitisation structures.
- Advising various creditor committees on the financing aspects of cross border restructurings.
