Kathryn is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. She assists public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Akin, Kathryn worked for the Hunter Legal Clinic for Victims of Crimes Against Women at SMU Dedman School of Law. Prior to that, she worked as a legal extern at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Kathryn earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif. She also served as lead articles editor for the SMU Law Review Association.
