Sunny practices in the firm’s intellectual property practice, where he advises clients on patent litigation matters.

He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he received a concentration in intellectual property and participated in moot court. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University where he majored in computer engineering and minored in mathematics. Prior to attending law school, Sunny was a software infrastructure engineer for a major global airline.

Sunny was a member of Akin’s 2022 summer associate class.
