Rolf Zaiss

Rolf retired from the partnership in 2024 after practicing in the executive compensation and employee benefits area for over 33 years.
Rolf has extensive experience in the employee benefits aspects of mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and has represented partnerships and corporations, ranging from start-ups to some of the largest public companies in the United States, in hundreds of domestic and cross-border M&A-related transactions. His representations also included advising on the employee benefits and compensation aspects of bankruptcies of other financial restructurings.
Rolf also has extensive experience representing private equity investors, employers, boards of directors and compensation committees, C-suite executives and management groups in the negotiation, structuring, drafting and implementation of employment, severance, change in control, deferred compensation and equity arrangements.
Prior to undertaking the practice of law, Rolf served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army and worked as a senior research analyst on Wall Street doing anti-takeover analysis.
